Food and Wine Event!

The Franciscan Earth Literacy Center  and Seeds of Hope Farm will host the 3rd annual Summer Harvest Gourmet Gala on August 14, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the St. Francis Campus. The Gala showcases the culinary talents of regional chefs and features a sampling of Ohio wines.

The evening is designed to offer guests a unique culinary opportunity: to taste gourmet fare featuring the locally-grown, chemical-free produce, eggs and poultry from the Farm and to meet the chefs who prepared the dishes.

Reservations are required.  Tickets are priced at $75.00 per person, or for those attending as a party of eight, the price is discounted  to $55.00 per person.

The Gala is also a fund raiser for the Center and Seeds of Hope Farm with proceeds benefitting environmental education programs for children and adults.

It’s a great combination of amazing local food and wine, scenic surroundings, a good cause and one of this area’s most talked about events. The Gala is not to be missed! Please join us.
